Drawing on Gaia Foods' expertise, the deal will expand Shiok Meats' current range of cell-based crustacean products like shrimp, lobster, and crab, to incorporate a variety of cultivated red meats, including pork and mutton, both of which are presently in development. The Singapore-based companies will target markets in Asia and plan to develop a cultivated shrimp and beef blend for use in spring rolls, dumplings, noodle dishes, and more.
