Cultivated meat industry leader, Memphis Meats, has rebranded as UPSIDE Foods, announced plans to bring its first lab-grown meat to market by the end of 2021, and gained a new investor in John Mackey, founder and CEO of Whole Foods. To satisfy the growing demand for meat, UPSIDE has broken ground on the first-of-its-kind, end-to-end facility that will produce, package, and ship cultured meat at a larger scale than any other in the industry.
