Upside Foods, a cultivated meat company, is opening the doors of its Engineering, Production, and Innovation Center (EPIC) facility for public tours in an effort to educate consumers about the product. The 53,000 square foot establishment is the world’s most advanced facility for producing cultivated meat and is powered entirely by renewable energy. In addition to the tour, visitors viewed a presentation about the production of cultivated meat, and met the company’s founder and CEO Dr. Uma Valetia.
