Natalie Rubio, PhD
Dr. Rubio is a scientist at Ark Biotech, a start-up developing upstream bioproduction systems for the cultivated meat industry. Natalie holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University via the New Harvest Doctoral Fellowship, where she worked in Dr. David Kaplan's tissue engineering research group, to develop and characterize unconventional cell types for cultured meat production. Previously, Natalie also worked with New Harvest, Perfect Day Foods, Quartzy, Bond Pet Foods and Matrix Meats.
